Recognised by the British public as the 'Great Ever Briton', Sir Winston Churchill's life and legacy has been the subject of huge debate over recent years. Our history resources explore his life in detail - from his early life to his wartime leadership to his role in domestic politics both before and after the war. They support a competition in which students can explore Churchill's life through a range of media (including written essays, videos and art work) and win a chance to take part in an expenses paid educational day in London in spring 2025, culminating with an event in Parliament in which the winning entries are showcased.
Use the contact form below to access our resources - including lesson plans and videos - and to read our competition brief. You can also scroll down to watch our short film reflecting on Churchill's life and legacy.
